Glamping West Pomerania
West Pomerania is the stretch of Polish Baltic coast closest to Germany, a region of kilometre-long beaches, wooded cliffs and coastal lagoons that blend Atlantic nature with a fascinating Hanseatic and spa heritage. Glamping in West Pomerania offers the Baltic coastal experience at its most tranquil and accessible, with accommodation among coastal pinewoods, beside inland lakes, and within reach of Szczecin, a city reborn with creative energy.
The cliffs of Wolin Island, the national park of the same name with its reintroduced bison, and the endless beaches of Miedzyzdroje and Kolobrzeg are the great natural draws. Inland, the Drawsko lake district surprises with clean, deep waters ringed by forests where fishing and kayaking are everyday activities.

Wolin Island and its Baltic cliffs
Wolin, Poland's largest island, harbours a national park with cliffs that plunge 95 metres to the Baltic. These wooded cliffs, unique on the Polish coast, offer panoramic trails with views of the open sea. The park has reintroduced European bison, which live in a forested enclosure open to visitors. The resort of Miedzyzdroje, at the foot of the cliffs, has a seaside promenade, a film festival and fine sandy beaches stretching for kilometres.
Spa tradition and the Kolobrzeg baths
Kolobrzeg is one of the oldest spa towns on the Baltic coast, with bathing traditions reaching back to the nineteenth century. Brines and therapeutic muds are used in modern spas combining medical treatments with wellness. The town preserves a Gothic cathedral and a lighthouse marking the mouth of the Parseta. The seafront promenade, the pier and the broad beaches complement the spa experience. Nearby glamping sites let you combine coastal nature with spa days.
The Drawsko lake district
The Drawsko lake district, in the interior of West Pomerania, is a glacial landscape of deep lakes surrounded by mixed forest. Lake Drawsko, 79 metres deep with waters of exceptional clarity, is ideal for diving and sailing. Czaplinek, the main town, is a base for exploring the lakes by canoe, fishing for pike and perch, or simply walking in the woods. The region offers absolute tranquillity, with few tourists and abundant nature.
Szczecin: the city reborn
Szczecin, the capital of West Pomerania, is a city reinventing itself with contemporary architecture and cultural spaces in former industrial buildings. The Szczecin Philharmonic, with its translucent glass facade honoured with the Mies van der Rohe Award, is an architectural landmark. The Oder boulevards, the Haken Terraces overlooking the river and the Lastownia district transformed into a creative quarter reveal a city with energy and vision.
Glamping in West Pomerania combines the Baltic coast with inland lakes and historic towns in north-western Poland. The region offers broad beaches, national parks and well-preserved nature at highly competitive prices.
Glamping accommodation is distributed between the coast, with options among dunes and pine forests, and the inland lakelands of Drawsko and Insko, with cabins by the water in a setting of forests and meadows. Szczecin and Koszalin are the urban reference points.
West Pomerania is a growing glamping destination attracting German and Scandinavian travellers for its proximity and natural quality. The spas of Kolobrzeg, with centuries-old bathing traditions, and the cultural festivals of Szczecin add options beyond nature.
